Junior Tour Members Dominate CHSAA Boys Golf State Tournament

St. Dominic's Michael Brennan finished runner-up to Cameron Young, of Fordham Prep, in the one-day CHSAA boys golf state tournament Friday at The Links at Union Vale in LaGrangeville, N.Y. Young birdied the first playoff hole, a 133-yard par 3 10th hole, to shoot a two-over 74. Brennan parred the 10th hole playoff, shooting a 74 for the day. J.P. Kilcullen, of St. Mary's, shot a 75 to place third and St. Anthony's Kyle Cunningham shot a 75 to place fourth. Trevor King, of St. Anthony's, finished fifth after shooting a 75. Brennan, Kilcullen, Cunningham and King are the locals headed to the federation tournament at 8:30 a.m. June 7 at Bethpage State Park Black Course in Farmingdale.
